Art

We believe that everyone at Aldwickbury can increase their capacity to make and enjoy art. Our art curriculum is taught through an exciting mix of varied projects covering a wide range of processes, skills and experiences.

Boys work in five media areas:

  • Drawing
  • Painting
  • Printing
  • Textiles and collage
  • Three dimensional work

There are many opportunities to study artists, crafts people and designers from different times and cultures. Boys are encouraged to make links between their own work and that of other artists. Regular trips to a variety of exhibitions and outdoor environments enhance the artistic experiences of the boys. The School is filled with displays that celebrate the boys’ creative achievements.
